Not only can snoring be uncomfortable, but snoring can also affect your sleeping patterns, often resulting in many uncomfortable and sleepless nights. Thankfully, the team here at Perth City Dental can assist you with your snoring problem, alleviating this issue.

Whether you suffer from mild or moderate Sleep Apnoea, our snore mouth guards can assist.

At Perth City Dental, we have had great success with the Erkodent® Silensor-sl anti-snoring appliance. This appliance is designed to open the airway by advancing the lower jaw forwards, a subtle change which patients generally find very comfortable. Also known as a snore mouth guard, this appliance is designed to alleviate snoring, without the diagnosis of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA).

If you have symptoms such as snoring loudly, waking up tired, experience tiredness/sleepiness throughout the day, waking with headaches or have episodes of apnoea (stopping breathing) during your sleep, you could be suffering from OSA. This can be mild, moderate or severe. OSA can be a serious health issue and it is recommended you are assessed in a controlled sleep study by a respiratory physician.
